Effect of Combination Shunt Passive Filter Harmonic and Detuned Reactor on the K-Factor Changes of Transformer

This paper describes the impact of changes in harmonic distortion on value transformer K-Factor. The has a capacity 1.5 MVA and K-Factor 1 under normal conditions. Techniques were installed to reduce distortion, shunt passive filter, detuned reactor. Several condition scenarios created compare distortion's K-factors value. Scenario 1, works K-factor becomes 3.947101, new that can serve load 1.27 MVA. 2, filter was circuit. Shunt IHD-V THD-V values PCC but increase IHD-I THD-I side. k-factor fell 1.5775, increased 1.44 novelty this is scenario 3, combination reactor limit current enters filter.
